BiG Africa Summit a resounding success- Eventus prepares for the continent's first gaming super-show


Eventus-International successfully concluded the 4th annual BiG Africa Summit, held October 24-26, 2016 at the Century City Convention Center and Hotel in Cape Town, South Africa. Prominent betting and iGaming industry leaders and influencers such as Mark Hutchinson of Gaming Solutions International, Jordyn Hill-Lewis, DTI Shadow Minister, Andrew Dagnall of Bettorlogic, Robin Le Prevost of Prevost Consultancy, Alan Pedley of Governance Associates, Gale Petrie of Turfsport and many others shared their views on the industry dynamics and what the future holds.

Exhibitors and sponsors were proud to showcase their offerings to visitors. Betconstruct, Betgenius, Betradar, BetTech Gaming, BtoBet, GI Tech, Golden Race, Meridian, Sirplay, South African Responsible Gambling Foundation, Turfsport and UB Gaming filled the exhibition hall.

Exciting gossip came from the exhibition floor that Eventus-International was rethinking the current summit format and that the first gaming "super show" would travel to Africa in November 2017. Yudi Soetjiptadi, Eventus-International project director: "Africa is ready for the next big step. Our partners, exhibitors, sponsors and visitors, have faithfully supported us over the past four years, and together we have explored the African continent. But we all agree that it's time to take it to the next level.
