‘Hardcore Pawn’ Star ‘Everyone’s Trying to Sell Their Muhammad Ali Stuff’

By | Entertainment, from Seth Gold, In the News | No Comments
[via TMZ.com] Got Muhammad Ali memorabilia in your house? Good.

Think the fact he died is gonna make your collection worth a fortune??? Think again.

We spoke to “Hardcore Pawn” star Seth Gold — who runs some of the most famous pawn shops in the county — and he says his stores have been bombarded with Ali stuff in the wake of his death.

Gold says everyone thinks their Ali stuff has rocketed in value — and they’re asking for insanely high prices.

Here’s an excerpt of the latest blog post from www.sethgold.com where you can see behind-the-scenes photos as well:

I hope that you enjoy listening to my weekly podcast as much as we enjoy recording the episodes … Dan, Les, and of course our weekly guests always keep things interesting and of course we enjoy bringing various items from the pawnshop to appraise and talk about.

This week’s episode, I talk about a new passion of mine — NASCAR Racing. Despite being a huge sports fan, the first NASCAR race that my family ever attended was the 2013 Quicken Loans 400 when I drove the official pace car at Michigan International Speedway.

In this week’s episode, we welcome NASCAR Champion driver Joey Logano to talk about the sport and the amazing championship season that he’s currently experiencing. Will Dan be the next NASCAR newbie? I also brings a memento from an amazing experience that he and Les shared at a significant sporting event. Listen now at www.play.it/GoldTone

iPawn is hosting the grand opening of their newest location on Military Road in Benton. This will be an open house with refreshments and a celebrity guest appearance by Seth Gold, of truTV’s Hard Core Pawn, and will take place Saturday, September 12th from 11:00am – 1:00pm.

iPawn is Arkansas’ premier pawn shop and has made it their goal to completely reinvent the pawn business in Central Arkansas. With a 110% loan guarantee, iPawn is more than just a pawn shop; it’s a one stop shop for affordable flat screen TVs, fine jewelry and watches, firearms, computers, and electronics.

Steve Landers, Jr., President and CEO of iPawn, said, “We’re excited to expand the iPawn family and to be serving more areas of Central Arkansas. Adding a location in Benton is a perfect fit, and we’re proud to provide our customers a new and better way of doing business in the pawn industry.”

Mike Willingham, Vice President and COO, said, “iPawn’s greatest priority is our customers. That’s why it was imperative to open a third location. Growth and expansion on our part means more variety, better service, and lower prices for you.”
