iPawn is hosting the grand opening of their newest location on Military Road in Benton. This will be an open house with refreshments and a celebrity guest appearance by Seth Gold, of truTV’s Hard Core Pawn, and will take place Saturday, September 12th from 11:00am – 1:00pm.
iPawn is Arkansas’ premier pawn shop and has made it their goal to completely reinvent the pawn business in Central Arkansas. With a 110% loan guarantee, iPawn is more than just a pawn shop; it’s a one stop shop for affordable flat screen TVs, fine jewelry and watches, firearms, computers, and electronics.
Steve Landers, Jr., President and CEO of iPawn, said, “We’re excited to expand the iPawn family and to be serving more areas of Central Arkansas. Adding a location in Benton is a perfect fit, and we’re proud to provide our customers a new and better way of doing business in the pawn industry.”
Mike Willingham, Vice President and COO, said, “iPawn’s greatest priority is our customers. That’s why it was imperative to open a third location. Growth and expansion on our part means more variety, better service, and lower prices for you.”
The existing iPawn stores are currently located on Rodney Parham and Baseline Road, in Little Rock. The new store can be found at 1212 Military Road, in Benton.
From the Detroit Free Press: “An aged Volkswagen van once owned by assisted suicide advocate Jack Kevorkian is up for sale at a Detroit pawn shop. American Jewelry and Loan owner Les Gold tells WJBK-TV that he thinks it will fetch about $40,000, even though the vehicle no longer runs. Kevorkian died in 2011 at age 83.
He sparked the national right-to-die debate with a homemade suicide machine that helped end the lives of about 130 ailing people. He helped people die in their homes, motels and in the back of the van that often transported bodies to hospital emergency rooms.”
Now, the fact that this iconic vehicle is for sale again has sparked a national interest, reflected in the media. Click on the links below for more information about this story:
